We are a team of marketing professionals  and entrepreneurs passionate about digital media marketing who united over the idea of helping small businesses to navigate the online and digital marketing space. We practice a “holistic” approach to designing a digital media strategy that incorporates only those digital channels and Web2.0 tools that are relevant to your customers. Gilberto Gil

After completing a degree in management, Gil began working overseas in Japan as part of his personal mission to master foreign languages and gain a broader perspective of the world.  During this time, he discovered a genuine passion for marketing consulting through his work with friends and local business owners.  Upon returning to the United States, Gil pursued an MBA in marketing at the Zicklin School of Business in New York City.  He continued in the field of marketing at a boutique agency catering to the needs of small and mid-sized businesses seeking to expatriate brands.  Gil helped clients develop both on and offline marketing strategies and has also worked with non-profit organizations on cause-related marketing campaigns. Gil possesses a vast expertise in using web analytics and online social media tools in meeting marketing objectives.  In addition to Japanese, Gil is fluent in Spanish and possesses a keen understanding of consumer behavior across cultures.  Currently, Gil is studying Italian and French with the hope of reading the works of Alighieri and Dumas in their original languages.

Denis Karenkin

Throughout his professional career, Denis has worked in business development and management roles for international companies operating in Asia and Europe. After his arrival in the USA in 2003, Denis has continued applying his international skills at a boutique export management company in NYC. While completing his Masters degree in marketing at the Zicklin School of Business, Denis discovered a passion for digital media marketing. In August 2008, he launched Gofigure Digital with a couple of like-minded classmates and friends – Gil and Lilian – with the goal of educating small businesses about benefits of marketing in the new media. In his spare time, Denis hones his digital marketing skills, learns Spanish and teaches Kundalini Yoga.
