GFD makes semifinals at the Microsoft Advertising Digital Challenge 2009
From February through April, we’ve taken part in the second annual digital advertising competition organized by Microsoft’s Digital Advertising division. This year, the competition was open to national and international colleges/universities. About 137 teams have submitted their proposals for a digital marketing plan to promote Microsoft’s web-based Office Suite extension - Office Live Workspace. GFD have succeeded to get shortlisted as one of the seven graduate teams that competed in the semifinals on April 30, 2009 at the Microsoft Headquarters in NYC.
It has been our honor to compete with some of the most talented digital marketing teams from all over the country. The winning team – “Digital All Stars” - from University of Washington, have shown excellent presentation skills, team-work, creativity and solid business case analysis backed up by effective digital media solutions. Congrats guys! Even though GFD was not picked by the panel of formidable experts and industry veterans who judgedthis event, it has been an amazing experience that gave us an opportunity to hone our digital marketing skills that we will use to meet and exceed the needs of our clients.
